The Beavers enjoyed a night on the trains at Bulkington on Thursday the last night of the term. The Beavers had train rides around the gardens which was then followed by a picnic and finally the investment of new beavers.
On the 3rd October Melksham Cubs were invited to Blenheim Care Home to spend an evening with some the residents. They all had a lovely time playing games and chatting over biscuits and squash.
Hopefully the Cubs will be visiting them again soon
Jamboree Applications are open! Want to find out more?
26th World Scout Jamboree – Poland 2027:
If you have a scout born between 30th July 2009 and 30th July 2013, they’re eligible to apply – and we’re running a series of Jamboree Roadshows to help them find out more.
The roadshows are completely optional, but they’re a great chance for young people (and their parents/carers) to:
Hear what a Jamboree is really like – from people who’ve been there
We’re also looking for plenty of adult volunteers to join us for the selection weekend (10–12 October). It’s completely free – camping and food included – and a brilliant way to be part of the buzz as young people take their first step towards the Jamboree. Sign up here: bit.ly/wsj-support
